Rules

Event:
Singles mixed, ladies receive 8 pins handicap per game. The tournament is open to all players owning a current international licence issued by their respective national federation (WTBA).

Venue:
Dolfijn Bowling Tilburg, Ringbaan Oost 2a, Tilburg, The Netherlands Qualification Round:
6 games American Style, changing lanes after each game. There will be a maximum of two players per lane.

Re-entry:
Re-entry is allowed. In case of a re-entry the highest qualification counts, the other scores will not count for qualification. Maximum one entry and maximum two re-entries can be pre-ordered. A maximum of two pre-orders can be placed on Friday and Saturday 4th and 5th March 2011.

Finals:
48 players will qualify for the final steps
8 players will qualify directly for the final step 4, which is players positioned 1-8 in the qualification standing
8 players will qualify directly for the final step 3, which is players positioned 9-16 in the qualification standing

32 players will qualify for the final step 1, which is:
- Players positioned 17-38 in the qualification standing
- Players positioned 1-4 in the Desperado standing
- Players positioned 1-6 in a separate standing for the squads conducted February 27th - March 1st.
In cases of players from the separate February 27th - March 1st standing are positioned in the interval 1-38 in the qualification standing, the next positioned player in the February 27th - March 1st  standing will qualify

Seeding for the final step 1-6
In the final step 1-6 players will be seeded according to their pinfall in the previous step

Final step 1:
There will be 8 pools of 4 players
Top two from each pool will qualify for the final step 2
The remaining 16 players will be ranked 33-48 according to their scores in the step

Final step 2:
16 players (16 winners from step 1)
There will be 4 pools of 4 players
Top two from each pool will qualify for the final step 3
The remaining 8 players will be ranked 25-32 according to their scores in the step

Final step 3:
16 players (9-16 after qualification + 8 winners from step 2)
There will be 4 pools of 4 players
Top two from each pool will qualify for the final step 4
The remaining 8 players will be ranked 17-24 according to their scores in the step
During Final Step 3 lanes 1-4 will serve as warmup lanes for players 1-8 after qualification.

Final step 4:
16 players (1-8 after qualification + 8 winners from step 3)
There will be 4 pools of 4 players
Top two from each pool will qualify for the final step 5
The remaining 8 players will be ranked 9-16 according to their scores in the step

Final step 5:
8 players (8 winners from step 4)
There will be 2 pools of 4 players
Top two from each pool will qualify for the final step 6
The remaining 4 players will be ranked 5-8 according to their scores in the step

Final step 6:
There will be 1 pool of 4 players
The players will be ranked 1-4 according to their scores in the step

Ranking Points EBT 2011:
In this tournament the top 50 men and top 50 women will be awarded double ranking points for the European Bowling Tour 2011. Ranking will be determined as followed:
1. Position in the tournament.
2. When bowlers are eliminated in the same round; ranking in that round.

Ties
Qualification and all final steps
In case of a tie, the highest ranked player will be the player with the highest last game in a step. If a tie still exists the highest ranked player will be the player with the highest second last game in a step etc. If all games in a step are tie, then the tie will be broken by following the same procedure for the last game in the previous step, then the second last game in the previous step etc.

Desperado
In case of tie in the desperado squad, the highest positioned player will be the player with the highest position after the qualification
